The majority of house parties are simple in nature. Host’s invites friends, family & associates to stop in during a two-to-three hour gathering. Hosts provide background music, drinks, snacks or desserts and entertaining activities. Mocatta provides a staff member, discrete mobile testing equipment, setup table and personality to complement your event.
At the conclusion of your gold party the Mocatta staff will review purchases made during your event and immediately make the commission payment.
Your guest may arrive expecting to sell us their scrap gold, broken jewelry, unpaired earrings, tangled necklaces, even jewelry findings containing precious metal. This includes gold, silver, platinum, palladium, rhodium, sterling silver, and dental gold/platinum.
We really don’t mind if your precious metals jewellery is unwanted, damaged, dirty, tangled or tarnished. So long as it’s gold, silver, platinum or palladium we’ll buy it.

A Mocatta Gold Party is a great way to have fun with your friends, family, coworkers and anyone else you invite to sell unwanted jewelry and leave with a bigger bank balance! Everyone goes home richer from our Gold Parties!
Party Hosts earn a commission on the total amount of purchases. As a host we will pay you a commission on the total amount of purchases. Typically our hosts get on average between $500 – $1,500. And we offer same day payouts to party host.
Just get your friends together over coffee or a bottle of wine & dessert and their unwanted gold jewellery. We will schedule a Mocatta buyer to your event who will weigh and test your precious metals and then make an offer for it.
